EV Charging stations available

CREATE AN ADDITIONAL INCOME STREAM AND SAVE IN POWER

Electric Vehicles represent cutting-edge technology and offer a solution to managing energy. Installing EV charging stations on your premises brings both financial and environmental benefits.  Also, it offers long-term advantages for your brand, home and our planet.

Industrial Electrics have partnered with global brands such as NHP/Delta, Schneider Electrics and Soltaro because of the commercial EV charging stations and load management. These stations are suitable for smart home storage, PV and EV charging.

Adding EV charging stations to residential strata buildings and different commercial models is an optimal way to attract customers and new residents.  But overwhelmingly, 81% of respondents in a recent survey were in favour of installing EV charging facilities.

A variety of EV chargers are available.  Moreover, EV stations provide the flexibility to suit your business and customers with load management systems. LMS helps energy efficiency, ensure building continuity, billing, monitoring and more.

Optimise your ev experience

By combining solar with storage, we allow homeowners to make the most of solar electricity generated during the day, even when the sun isn’t shining. When your home isn’t using the solar energy created by the panels it’ll be stored in the battery so you can use green electricity at night rather than buying power from the grid. Add an Electric Vehicle to your storage with smart integrated systems, and you are on the path to achieving up to 90% less energy purchased.

As a result, as well as protecting yourself from energy uncertainty in the future, you are saving on your energy costs. It’s solar power, but smarter, and you’ll be surprised by how simple it is! If you are wanting to speak to one of our friendly team members please cal

Frequently Asked Questions

Can any electric car use any charging station?

All electric vehicles are compatible with the standard level 2 chargers, which can be used at home, work, or at various public locations. Public locations where EV charges can be found are often parking lots and at or close to petrol stations and highways.

What is the difference between a level 1 and level 2 charger?

A level 1 charger comes with your car purchase and can be plugged into your car from a standard wall outlet and delivers an electrical current to charge the EVs. Level 2 charging uses a specific charging unit and has the ability to input more power in a shorter duration.

where do electric car chargers get their energy?

Electric cars that use public chargers are charging from the local electricity network which may rely on some clean energy and some fossil fuels. EV car charges from home get their energy from being connected to the grid. The cost and efforts to use clean energy here can be supported with the installation of a solar panel system.

how much does it cost to charge an electric car at a public charging station?

According to a JOLT article, ‘In Australia, it can cost anywhere from $0.30 – $0.60 per kWh to charge an electric vehicle (EV). This equates to around $11.50 – $23 to fully charge a small electric vehicle or about $22.50 – $45 to fully charge a larger long-distance electric vehicle.’

are electric car charging stations profitable?

EV charging stations are an innovative way to create profitability for your business. By creating an additional income stream, installing EV charging stations for example in a car park, creates the potential for new customers, brand loyalty, time and money spent at your business as well as revenue earned from the stations.

is charging an electric car cheaper than petrol?

Yes, charging an electric car is far cheaper than petrol at an average of 40% less per year. This cost can be reduced even further if charging your car using the renewable energy generated from a solar system that has been stored with a home battery storage system during the day.
